Description

The Health Care Financing Administration intends to award on a sole source basis with Techmark Corporation, 1100 Wicomico Street, Suite 450, Baltimore, Maryland 21230 an equipment enhancement/upgrade for an existing security system that will allow it to perform functions including incorporation of the parking system and the ability to communicate with outer lying buildings. The upgrade will also enable the system to expand and accept additional growth, which would accommodate future building procurements. Techmark Corporation has been identified as the only company capable of instantly tying into HCFA's existing cabling, cardreaders, proximity cards and other integral parts of the system. Although other companies have been found that provide security systems, their inability to assume the liability of voiding our existing maintenance warranty by providing integrated service obstructs the time frames dictated by the Agency. If there are no affirmative written responses received within (15) calendar days from the published date of this notice, a purchase order shall be awarded.
