Description

Contractor(s) shall provide maintenance services at the facilities located within VISN 7 (Alabama, Georgia and South Carolina), as well as the VA Regional Office in Montgomery AL, Monday through Friday, during normal working hours. Contractor(s) shall provide all labor, transportation, equipment, materials, tools, supplies, supervision, incidental engineering and management required to perform the maintenance of the elevators/dumbwaiters in accordance with the manufacturer's original specifications. Contractor(s) must be licensed by the State in which the work will be performed and the work shall be performed by elevator mechanics specifically qualified and trained to work on elevators/dumbwaiters systems and equipment. Company must have a minimum of five years experience to the comparable size/number of elevators for the eight facilities. Contract period will be for a base year and four option year renewals beginning 10/1/01. NAISC is 811310. Solicitation will be available o/a 5/23/01 and bids will be due o/a 6/25/01.
