Description
The U.S. Coast Guard Engineering Logistics Center is seeking qualified sources that have the capabilities to overhaul various Globe Turbochargers: (1) Stock Number 2950-01-047-6098, Model 131, P/N 22601565-2; (2) Stock Number 2950-01-233-3468, Model 131, P/N 22602171-2; (3) Stock Number 2990-01-319-7609, Model 165, P/N 22600186-4; (4) Stock Number 2950-01-118-7979, Model 165, P/N 22602128-2; (5) Stock Number 2990-01-363-1644, Model 720, P/N 22600172-4; (6) Stock Number 2950-01-057-9914, Model 720, P/N 22600130-8. Turbochargers shall be repaired in accordance with OEM specifications and standards. Contractor shall be required to provide all labor, materials required to open, inspect, report, repair, test, preserve, and package these Turbochargers in accordance with current OEM specifications and standards. All parts to be furnished in the overhaul must be genuine Globe Turbocharger parts. It is the Government's belief that only Globe Turbocharger Specialties, the Original Equipment Manufacturer, and/or their authorized repair facilities can obtain the necessary specifications and genuine OEM replacement parts, and can furnish the required items to ensure proper form, fit, and function of all its components. The Government does not possess the required specifications, drawings, engineering data, etc., to provide with the solicitation package. However, other qualified sources may submit information regarding their capabilities. Concerns that respond to this Notice must fully demonstrate their capabilities by submitting: (1) Complete and current engineering data demonstrating the acceptability of parts (i.e., salient physical, functional, and serviceability characteristics) or (3) verification that the concern has satisfactorily overhauled these Turbochargers for the Government or the OEM. THIS INFORMATION MUST BE RECEIVED IN THIS OFFICE NO LATER THAN FIFTEEN (15) CALENDAR DAYS FROM THE DATE THIS NOTICE IS PUBLISHED. Information received after this established deadline shall not be considered for this acquisition. This synopsis is issued pursuant to FAR 6.203-1 and TAM 1206.302. See Numbered Note 22. The following statement is for information purposes: ATTENTION: Minority, Women-Owned, and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE's)! The Department of Transportation (DOT), Short Term Lending Program (STLP), offers working capital financing in the form of lines of credit to finance accounts receivable for transportation related contracts.
