Description

This is a modification to the synopsis entitled CONSOLIDATED LOGISTICS, ADMINISTRATIVE AND SCIENTIFIC INFORMATION CONTRACT (CLASIC), Solicitation No. 1-71-SLA.1131 which was posted on February 23, 2001. You are notified that the following changes are made: The date for issuance of the draft RFP has been postponed because of a change in the contract type from a hybrid cost-plus-award-fee/fixed-price contract to a cost-plus-incentive-fee/award-term/fixed-price contract. Award term is a pilot program that awards additional 1-year performance periods up to a total of 10 years for excellent technical performance and cost reduction/containment. At least a six-week slip in the schedule is anticipated at this time. A revised DRAFT and Final RFP issue date will be posted with any other changes to this notice. Documents related to this procurement are available over the Internet and are in Microsoft Office 97 format and will reside on a World Wide Web (WWW) server, which may be accessed using a WWW browser application.
