Description
(i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for Commercial Items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This notice constitutes the only solicitation; price quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). (iii) The solicitation document and incorporated Provisions and Clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-23. FAR Clauses and Provisions are available via internet address: http://www.arnet.gov/far/. (iv) This acquisition is This acquisition is 100% set-aside for small business concern.. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 561720/$12.0. (v). This is a Firm-Fixed Price Contract. (vi) RFQ's are due no later than 27 Apr. 2001, Local Time: 2:00 P.M. (vii) Place Of Performance: U.S. Coast Guard Academy, New London, CT (viii) Contract Period: 1 May 2001 -- 30 September 2001, with 4 option years. (ix) Written concerns shall be accepted via e-mail to cfreer@mlca.uscg.mil (x) DESC: The U.S. Coast Guard requires Cleaning Services for Kitchen Hoods and Ducts, and Clothes Dryer Exhaust Systems. Wage Determination No. 1994-2087 Revision No.: 17 dated: 09/13/2000 is applicable. (xii) Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Provisions that applies to this RFQ: 52.212-1, Instruction to Offerors-Commercial Items (Oct 2000), 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items (Jan 1999). The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsive, responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: Price, Technical Capability of service(s) offered, and Past Performance factors (please provide Points of Contact, Telephone Numbers, and types of services which contracts have been satisfactorily completed of at least 3 current references). 52.212-3, Offerors Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items (Feb 2001). 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items (Mar 2001), 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions-Required to Implement Statues or Executive Orders-Commercial Items (Feb 2001) applies as follows: paragraph (a), (b) (5), (7), (11), (12), (13), (14), (15), (19), and (25), (c) (1), (d), (e).
