Minimum 3 GB free/available hard drive space required after installation of software specified in this contract. Laser printers shall be Hewlett Packard LaserJet 4 or comparably newer models with a minimum of 8MB of memory. All printers should include a full toner cartridge. Printers are listed in the comments section of the daily printouts. Power (from wall outlet) shall be supplied for each component. This includes all related needed items such as extension cords, surge suppressors, etc. Vendor shall coordinate power requirements with Town and Country Conference Center to assure adequate power supply is available to drive all designated equipment, i.e., computers, printers, copy machines, faxes, etc. Vendor shall provide all peripheral component (printer, modem, CD-ROM, etc.) cables. Vendor shall setup, install, and remove all provided equipment as required by date and location. All systems shall be setup, installed and operational by 0600 each day, unless otherwise specified. Any equipment whose location was specified by 1800 the previous day, which is not in place by 0600 shall be provided by the vendor at no cost to NEHC. This penalty can be waived at the discretion of the Workshop Director. NEHC will provide vendor with various additional applications software to be installed in the computer lab/demo area. NAVENVIRHLTHCEN personnel must be allowed to install additional software as required. All software installed by NAVENVIRHLTHCEN personnel shall be deleted by vendor upon end of workshop NAVENVIRHLTHCEN will provide standard copier paper, and other paper stock as required for the Hewlett Packard LaserJet printers. Technician(s) shall be onsite for service between the hours 6:00 AM and 7:00 PM and on call after hours throughout the conference. Vendor shall repair and/or replace items within 1 hour as required due to component malfunction. Any equipment, which is not repaired or replaced within one hour,shall be provided by the vendor at no cost to NEHC. This penalty can be waived at the discretion of the Workshop Director. Computer contractor shall coordinate with the Audio/Visual (A/V) contractor to ensure that all computers are compatible with A/V equipment. Vendor shall provide 5 additional computer systems, which will be held in reserve for use as determined by Computer Coordinator. Location to be determined. As spares both regular mice and Cordless Mice or equivalent as well as spare Batteries for the cordless mice Internet access requirements are annotated in the comments section of the daily printouts. Systems requiring Internet access, as well as all systems that are networked, shall come installed with an appropriate network card or modem, as well as all drivers, networking software, "Internet Explorer" web browser software and when dial-up access is required, an "account" to access the Internet via a local or "800" phone number where applicable. ALL COSTS SHALL BE INCLUDED. Hardwired access to the Internet via a network card shall be used whenever possible. Modems with dial-up connections shall be used only as a last resort. Training, Demonstration, and Registration area computers will be configured to have Internet access capability. Computers requiring networking (as apposed to standalone computers requiring Internet access) shall be connected via 10 or 10/100 Ethernet cards to a hub. Vendor shall supply all Network Interface Cards, Patch Cables and Hubs. The three areas requiring networking between computers are registration, the Computer Lab, and the Computer Demo Room. SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS Registration Area Requirements: The registration data shall be loaded on the Windows NT servers. Only one of these computers shall require Internet access. As needed: Projection lamp replacements for projection devices Meeting Room Computer & Audio Visual Requirements: Meeting rooms shall be configured with two basic set ups as follows: One set up shall have a computer system with an SVGA projector capable of accepting images up to 1024x768, a tripod screen suitable for the meeting room size, a remote control unit compatible with PowerPoint, and Overhead and or 35mm slide projectors as needed, a laser pointer and flip charts or white boards. Screen Savers shall be disabled on these systems. Vendor shall analyze room requirements to determine best solution for projection and screen display needs for adequate presentation of speaker material. The second configuration shall not have a computer system. The overhead projectors and the 35mm slide projectors shall be on rolling carts for relocation where needed. One computer will be needed by the speaker(s). The speaker's computer shall be set up at the front where the speaker can view and manipulate a laptop screen that is also projected at the front of the classroom via a projection device.
