Description

The Bureau of Reclamation wishes to evaluate proposals for reducing salinity contributions to the Colorado River. Such proposals may consist of measures to reduce salinity contributions originating from saline springs, leaking wells, irrigation sources, municipal and industrial sources, erosion of public and private land, or other sources. Reclamation will be considering proposals to design, construct and operate, or otherwise implement, salinity projects. Interested parties can obtain a hard copy of the request for proposal by contacting Heidi Nelson at (801) 524-3762. The request for proposal can also be obtained on the Internet at www.uc.usbr.gov/acq/index.html. The request for proposals will be available on April 26, 2001. All responsible sources will be considered.
