Description

Furnish all material, labor, equipment, tools, and supervision as required to expand the existing canteen patio area located on the first floor of the clinical addition at this VAMC. Work includes interior and exterior renovations, including storefront, roofing, concrete, hardware, partitions, flooring, ceilings, painting, vinyl wall covering, plumbing, HVAC & electrical for an area abt 2,000 SF. Phasing of the work will be required to minimize the impact on the canteen service. All work activity can not be interrupted. All work shall be performed pursuant to all local, state, and federal regulations, as per contract drawings and specs stipulated in the SOL and shall be completed within 120 day of NTP. A charge of $150.00 is required for each bid package requested. All responses to this notice must include either a company or cashier's check or money order made payable to: "VA Medical Center/508." No personal checks will be accepted. Deposits are refundable upon returning ALL bid documents within 20 days of BOD. ALL REQUESTS FOR BID PACKAGES MUST BE IN WRITING ACCOMPANY BY DEPOSIT. NO FAX OR TELEPHONE REQUESTS WILL BE ACCEPTED. Est. cost is between $100,000 and $250,000. Est. issue dtd o/a 4-30-01. A pre-bid conference is scheduled for 5-20-01 in Room GC-125 Project Office at 1:00 p.m. (EST) at VAMC, 1670 Clairmont Rd, Decatur, GA. BOD: 10:am (EST) on 5-30-01. Contract award is subject to availability of funds. Pursuant to FAR 19.1007(b), this is an unrestricted procurement.
