Description

The US Army Robert Morris Acquisition Center, Natick , has a requirement for Roller Pad, 16 Foot, (used on Type V Heavy Equipment Airdrop Platform), NSN: 1670-01-162-2382, P/N: 11-1-2795-3. The Government anticipates that this acquisition, utilizing the best value concept, will result in a Firm Fixed Price type Purchase Order for a quantity of 50 packages, including First Article Test Units. A package consist of Four each 16 foot Roller Pads. This requirement is 100 Percent small business set-aside. The best value source selection will be based on the offeror's proposed price and past performance in that order of importance. Offerors shall submit with their proposal a one page past performance sheet listing at least three recent (past two years) references for the same or similar item. The past performance sheet must contain a point of contact for each company or Government Agency, a current telephone number and fax number, the dollar amount of the contract or purchase order and order/contract number. All deliveries will be F.O.B. Destination with shipments to New Cumberland, PA. First Articles are due 90 days after award, Test Report due 106 days after award. First shipment of a total of 25 packages are due 90 days after approval of Test Report with the remaining 25 pieces due the following month. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 332999; the size standard is 500 employees. The Solicitation, Technical Data Package, and other attachments will be posted on the Natick Contracting Division's web site located at http://www3.natick.army.mil on or about 10 May 01. Firms will not be reimbursed for any cost associated with proposal preparation. See Note 1.
