Description

This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). ITEM 1: Quantity: 1 each -- Part Number -- FXE-225.50; Microfocus x-ray system -- 225kv with the following features: Feinfocus FXE-225.50 microfocus x-ray system or equivalent with the following salient features: -High voltage range -- 10-225 KV -Beam current range -- 0.01 MA to 3.00 MA -Maximum electron beam power -- 320 watts -Minimum focal spot size -- 3 x 6 micron, power dependent -Target material -- Tungsten -Tube window -- Beryllium, 0.5 MM. Thick -Radiation cone angle -- 40 degrees -- Minimum focus to object distance -- 5MM. ITEM 2: Quantity: 1 each -- Part Number -- AI-5764-HVP; 9"Tri-Field image intensifier {Toshiba AI-5764-HVP Tri-Field advanced super metal II or equivalent} with the following salient features: -Diameter of image area -- 225, 150 or 100 MM. -Spatial resolution -- 4.2 line pairs/MM. -Quantum detection efficiency -- 85% @ 60 KEV monochromatic ITEM 3: Quantity: 1 each -- Part Number -- 1M15; High resolution camera for x-ray micro-focus system {silicon mountain design SMD 1M15 solid state 1K x 1K CCD or equivalent} with the following features: -Solid state 1K x 1K CCD {Charge coupled device} -Signal format -- 16 bit digital -Frame rates: 15 hz at full resolution or 30 hz binned x 2 in x and Y -S/N ratio >70 DB ITEM 4: Quantity: 1 each -- Part Number -- Microfocus 01; Microfocus Option 1 Package: -5 Axis camera mount -Image intensifier 90 degree adapter -Lens -Cabling -Tube and Intensifier mounting systems -Cone beam volume CT Software package -Assembly, installation, test, and 1 year backup The provisions and clauses in the RFQ are those in effect through FAC 97-24. This procurement is a total small business set-aside. See Note 1. The NAICS Code and the small business size standard for this procurement are 335999 and 500, respectively. The quoter shall state in their quotation their size status for this procurement. All qualified responsible business sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Delivery to MSFC is required within 120 days ARO. Delivery shall be FOB Destination. The DPAS rating for this procurement is DO-C9. Quotations for the items(s) described above are due by the date and time specified above and may be mailed to National Aeronautics and Space Administration, Marshall Space Flight Center, PS22I/Andrea Tobias, Marshall Space Flight Center, Al 35812 or faxed to (256) 544-8688 and include, solicitation number, FOB destination to this Center, proposed delivery schedule, discount/payment terms, warranty duration (if applicable), taxpayer identification number (TIN), identification of any special commercial terms, and be signed by an authorized company representative. Quoters are encouraged to use the Standard Form 1449, Solicitation/Contract/Order for Commercial Items form found at URL: http://procure.arc.nasa.gov/Acq/Forms/Index.html to submit a quotation. Quoters shall provide the information required by FAR 52.212-1. Addenda to FAR 52.212-1 are as follows: MSFC 52.239-1, NFS 1852.211-70, and 1852.214-71. Reserve paragraph(s) (d),(e),(f), (h), and (i) in 52.212-1. If the end product(s) quoted is other than domestic end product(s) as defined in the clause entitled "Buy American Act -- Supplies," the quoter shall so state and shall list the country of origin.
