Description

This modification is issued to extend the closing date and make the following changes to solicitation N00189-01-T-0556. The closing date has been extended to COB on 02 May 01. All work must be performed during the hours of 0730-2200, Monday through Sunday. The work is to begin in Bldg. 1558, the reception area and rooms 156 through 160 1st priority, then rooms 160A, 159A and 161A are 2nd priority. Room 155A is the 3rd priority. Both sections may be worked simultaneously. CLIN 0001, to read 703 SY; CLIN 0001AA, to read install carpet directly over existing tiles; CLIN 0001AC, to read 446 SY; CLIN 0001AE, Padding type is 3/8" thick, 8-lb. Density, rebond; CLIN 0002, Add rooms 104, 106, 107, 108 (Bldg. 1558) rooms 112, 121, 122,(ANNEX) change square feet to read 7217;CLIN 0002AB to read 4" vinyl base cove, 5218 LF;CLIN 0002AA, Contractor is provide dumpster(s) for removal and disposal of existing tiles and carpet. All other requirements remain unchanged. The buildings have been declared asbestos free as far as the tiles are concerned.
