Description

The Huntington District Corps of Engineers intends to procure a contract(s) for a Second New Housing Unit (500 Bed) for the Federal Prison Camp for Women, Alderson, West Virginia. The magnitude of this fixed price contract is expected to be between $5,000,000.00 and $10,000,000.00. RATING CRITERIA (in descending order of importance): 1. Project Management, Quality Control, Key Personnel and Schedule; 2. Planned Technical Execution of Key Work Elements; 3. Experience and Past Performance. The award will be made as a whole to the offeror whose proposal conforms to the solicitation and has been determined to be the most advantageous to the Government, all factors considered. Solicitation packages (CDs) will be available on or about 10 May 2001. This requirement is being solicited on an unrestricted basis. Proposals will be entertained from all responsible firms. Requests for solicitations may be made at:www.lrh.usace.army.mil/CT A Pre-Proposal Conference will be held on 24 May 2001, 10:00 a.m. at the Federal Prison Camp for Women, Alderson, West Virginia. Attendance is considered to be very important to offerors in order for them to fully understand the security and access restrictions at the prison.
