Description

Furnishing labor, equipment, supplies, and materials, except for specified Government-Furnished property to demolish concrete slabs, sidewalks, small building, shelter, foundations, post bases, water storage tank, miscellaneous metal piping, blocks, fencing, pipe railing, plastic pipe, misc. wood, wood stairs etc and haul them to the American Falls land fill. Scarify roads and trails and re-seed these areas, grade the remaining road and parking lot as indicated on the site plan sheet. Block off cave entrances and paths to the Great Rift with grouted lava rock barriers, and one steel barrier. Place rock barriers at roads, and trails as shown on plan sheets, remove 2 concrete signs and relocated a large rock plaque base from present location to a new location near the parking area as shown. Place seven new sets of sign posts for new signs at locations as shown on the Barrier Details, Site Plan and photo sheets. Location: Work under this Contract is located in Power County, 19 miles due West of Aberdeen Idaho (or approx. 25.6 miles by road from American Falls) American Falls is located Approx. 25 miles west of Pocatello. The work site is at the Crystal Ice Cave and nearby King Bowl area (a National Natural Land Mark). Performance Period is 120 days. Estimated price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. In accordance with FAR 28.102-1, a 50% Payment Bond is required for contracts greater than $25,000, prior to issuance of the Notice to Proceed.
