Description

See note #1. The National Guard Bureau is requesting proposals from only qualified small businesses. The requested service includes all supervision, labor, materials and equipment required to wash the windows of the Army National Guard Readiness Center in accordance with the Performance Work Statement within the solicitation. The Government anticipates a commercial items award using best-value evaluation criteria for a contract with a performance period of one base year and four option years. The estimated dollar value is estimated to be less than $100,000 for each year of service. The three story facility includes approximately 49,000 square feet of windows and skylights and has significant restrictions to traditional methods of window washing. For this reason, proposals will only be accepted from offerors that attend a mandatory pre-proposal meeting to be held on 8 May 2001 from 10-11 a.m. eastern standard time at the facility located at 111 S. George Mason Drive, Arlington, VA 22204. Solicitations will only be available after 2 May 2001 by written e-mail or fax request to MAJ James Helm, the Contracting Officer.
