Description
The work includes providing all labor, materials, transportation, tools, equipment, supervision, and management necessary for replacing damaged sprayed on polyurethane foam roofing (SPUF), removing paint from exterior steel framing, repair rust damage, repaint steel structure and incidental related work to building PM365 for the Ventura County Naval Base, Point Mugu, CA by means of a Firm Fixed Price contract. The estimated cost range is between $500,000 -- $1,000,00.00 Anticipated performance time is approximately 180 calendar days. This procurement is unrestricted. The North American Industrial Classification (NAICS) code is 23561. The Small Business Size Standard is $11.5.0M. All responsible business sources may submit a proposal which, if timely received, shall be considered by the agency. All prospective offerors and plan rooms must register as planholders on this website http://esol.navfac.navy.mil) in order to receive a copy of the plans and specifications. The official plan holder's list will be maintained on and can be printed from the website. In accordance with FAR 5.102(a)(7) availability of the solicitation will be limited to the electronic medium; solicitation will be available for download free of charge via this website. Hard copies (paper sets) or CD-ROM of the solicitation will NOT be provided by the Government. Plan holders lists will not be faxed and will only be available from the website. Registering offerors and plan rooms must provide a complete name, address, area code, phone number, offeror type (prime contractor, subcontractor, supplier, or plan room), e-mail address and type of business (large, small, small disadvantaged, woman owned, etc.). Notification of any amendments to the solicitation will only be made on the website for any posted changes. It is the sole responsibility of the offeror to continually view the website for any amendments made to this solicitation. The Plans and Specifications will be available on the esol website on or about 11 May 2001. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose proposal, conforms to the solicitation, that is LOW PRICE -- TECHNICALLY ACCEPTABLE to the government. This procurement will be evaluated on the following factors: FACTOR 1 -- TECHNICAL; SUBFACTOR 1.1 -- EXPERIENCE; SUBFACTOR 1.2 -- EXPERIENCE IN MARINE CLIMATE; SUBJACTOR 1.3 -- LICENSE; SUBFACTOR 1.4 -- CERTIFICATIONS; FACTOR 2 -- PRICE The apparent successful offeror must be registered in the Department of Defense Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database.
