Description

The U.S. Robert Morris Acquisition Center/Natick has a requirement for 658 12 Foot Cable Assembly, Coupling, Airdrop, NSN: 1670-00-434-5797. The Government anticipates this acquisition will result in a firm-fixed-price type purchase order. The general characteristics and item description are: C/O TERMINAL CONDUIT LATCH END, TERMINAL CONDUIT ACTUATOR END, COLLAR ADJUSTING, YOKE, TERMINAL WIRE ROPE, SWAGING, WIRE ROPE, CONDUIT, NUT COUPLING, STRAIN RELIEF, POLE END WIRE SWAGING, SINGLE SHANK, 4 SETSCREW HEX SOCKET FLAT, NUT PLAIN HEX, 2 PIN STRAIGHT HEADED DRIVE SHANK, 2 PIN COTTER, BALL SINGLE SHANK, 12 FEET LG. III END ITEM IDENTIFICATION: MISCL AIRDROP CANVAS, WEBBING, METAL, & WOOD. All deliveries of the cables shall be F.O.B. Destination, with shipments to New Cumberland, PA. A best value source selection will be based on the quoter's proposed price and past performance in cable manufacturing and testing in that order of importance. Prices shall be filled in on the Request For Quotes (RFQ) DAAD15-01-Q-0006. Offeror's shall also submit a one-page past performance sheet listing at least three recent (past two years) references for the same or a similar item. The past performance sheet must contain a point of contact for each, a current telephone and fax number, order/contract. This acquisition is 100% set aside for small business. The North American Industry Classification System Industry is 332912 and the size standard is 500 employees. The Solicitation, with attachments will be posted on the Acquisition Center's web site: http://www3,natick.army.mil on or about 9 May 2001. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which will be considered by this agency .
