Description

SOLICITATION NO. N68335-01-R-0275 WILL NOT BE MAILED TO CONTRACTORS. The solicitation will appear on the Navair Homepage www.navair.navy.mil Note 1 -- 100% SET ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESS (NAICS Code 333999). The solicitation is for an indefinite delivery indefinite quantity of small (not to exceed 42" wide x 32" deep x 79" high) non-aqueous recycling parts washers, designed to use non-aqueous Group I volatile organic compound (VOC)-exempt solvents, as well as P-D-680 class solvents. The design of the unit shall incorporate a vent to exhaust vapors away from the user. The unit shall be designed for the removal of oils, solvents, greases, ethylene glycol, and chlorinated hydrocarbons from parts prohibited from being exposed to water or aqueous solutions. The fluid shall be automatically purified using a vacuum distillation process. The unit shall employ a work-area wash basin approximately 42" wide x 30" deep x 9.5" high, in addition to a hand-held wash brush. Submission of logistical support data will also be required as part of the contract. This requirement shall be fulfilled by supplying "commercial items" as defined in Section 2.101 of the Federal Acquisition Regulations. This contract will be firm fixed price with provisions for ordering up to 90 additional units. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government technical, past experience, past performance and price considered.
