Description

The Government intends to award a Firm Fixed Price contract for bellow protection spares which are part of end item AS-442. The above item must be able to fully and successfully integrate into the end item. The three National Stock Numbers to be acquired are as follows, NSN: 5340-01-444-5394 QTY 10, NSN: 5340-01-444-5395 QTY 5 and NSN: 5340-01-444-5396 QTY 10. Delivery will be made to New Cumberland, Pennsylvania within 180 days of Contract Award. The Government does not currently possess the necessary technical drawings to enable competition for this item. Yale Industries Product is the only source who possesses the capability and knowledge required to satisfy the Government's requirements. The sole source acquisition with Yale Industries Product is authorized IAW FAR6.302- (a) (1), Only One Responsible Source or a Limited Number of Sources. This notice is not to be considered as a request for offer/proposal from other sources. However, all proposals received will be evaluated. The U.S. Army Communications and Electronics Command (CECOM) has established the Business Opportunity Page (BOP) website to allow electronic transmittal of Request for Proposals (RFPs), Request for Quotes (RFQs), and Invitation for Bids (IFBs) from CECOM to industry.
