The United States Naval Academy has a requirement to purchase the following and must be compatible with other existing Instron Testing machines, load cell, grips, fixtures, furnaces, and software: Item #1 -- Model 4484 Dual Column floor mounted testing system, capacity 150 kN, including: 4484-A1 English language option, 4484-d1 120V option, 4484-e1 max. crosshead travel 46.5 in., 4484-f1 horiz. test space: 22.6 in., 4484-G1 Single test space below xhead, 2525-171 150 kN low profile, reverse stress load cell, 1480-001 Verification of load cell, 2402-012 GPIB, IEEE488 interface, 2210-865 AC/DC sensor conditioner card, 2501-117 compression anvil, 6 in dia 200 kN cap., type IIm LH, and 2501- compression anvil, 6 in. dia. 200 kN cap., type D (shank). 1 EACH. Item #2 -- #2717-056 Self-aligning tension grip body, 250 kN cap. for threaded and shouldered specimens, upper and lower. 1 EACH. Item #3 -- #2717-046 Grip heads, blank, for threaded specimens, one pair. 1 EACH. Item #4 -- #2630-115 strain gage extensometer, 2 in. gage length, +50%, -5%. 1 EACH. Item # 5 -- #2490-849 National Instruments PCI-GPIB board with cable and frivers for Win 95, 98. 1 EACH. Item # 6 -- No6te 13209 -- installation and setup includes start-up training. 1 LOT.
