Description

National Imagery and Mapping Agency (NIMA) intends to award a sole-source procurement to Physical Science Laboratory, New Mexico State University for a feasibility study for (1) manufacture/replication of three (3) A35M Geodetic Astrolabes, (2) manufacture/replication using alternative to mercury and upgrade redesign, and (3) manufacture of new astrolabes. Authority for sole source procurement is 10 USC 2304(c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1. This is a synopsis of intent to negotiate a sole source contract with Physical Science Laboratory and no solicitation shall be issued. Responsible sources who are interested in this procurement may respond by providing clear and convincing information that identifies their capabilities.
