Description

The United States Agency for International Development (USAID), Bureau for Global Programs, Center for Population, Health and Nutrition (PHN Center) seeks an organization to provide for the recruitment and backstopping of Technical Advisors in AIDS, Child Survival, Infectious Diseases, Population and Basic Education (abbreviation TAACS), to serve with overseas Missions. Through this program the contractor will assist USAID in the implementation of priority programs in the health, nutrition, population and basic education sectors. USAID anticipates the award of a five. This award will be based on a full and open competition. The Request for Proposal (RFP), when issued will provide the final information on the closing date. USAID intends to release the RFP on or about May 18, 2001. The preferred method of distribution of USAID procurement information is via the Internet or by request of a solicitation on a 3.5" floppy disk (WORD format). This CBD notice can be viewed and downloaded using the Agency Web Site. The RFA, once issued, can be downloaded from the Agency Web Site. The Worldwide Web address is http://www.usaid.gov. Select Business and Procurement from the home page, then "USAID Procurements." On the following screen, select "Download USAID Solicitations."
