Description

In order to implement Section 309 of the Regional Haze Rule, it is necessary for the Western Regional Air Partnership (WRAP) to project emissions to 2018, as well as some intermediate years, for Western states. The WRAP Emissions Forum is seeking population growth data and economic factors to enable the WRAP to project future emissions from stationary and area sources. WRAP must project NOx and PM from major and minor point sources as well as area sources. Sulfur dioxide emissions will be projected for smaller point sources (under 100 tons per year) and area sources. These projections will be made by the Integrated Assessment System, once population and economic factors gathered by the Contractor are combined into overall growth factors for each source category and county.
