Description

SUICIDE INTERVENTION AND TRAINING CERTIFICATION: The Government intends to negotiate a non-competitive, sole-source, commercial purchase order with Living Works Education for training of the ASIST program. These Nonpersonal services will provide training, certification, caregiver knowledge, and confidence to intervene at risk suicide situations. For the purpose of uniformity, Living Works Education is the only source that can satisfy the Government_s requirements of inter Air Force and inter U.S. Services operability, as Living Works_ ASIST program is already used for suicide intervention certification among professional and non-professional caregivers by the Air Force Air Mobility Command, The U.S. Navy, and the U.S. Army. Living Works is the sole proprietor and certifier of trainers of the ASIST program. This procurement is authorized in accordance with 10 USC 2304 (c) (1). The proposed solicitation is for Nonpersonal services for which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. No solicitation document exists. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals via email to Evelyn.Ligon@langley.af.mil. Telephone requests will not be honored. A determination by the Government to compete this proposed action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
