Description

This will be a requirements-type contract. Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, transportation, tools, equipment and appurtenances to troubleshoot and repair/replace mechanical and electrical equipment at the Schofield Barracks Wastewater Treatment Plant (SBWWTP), Schofield Barracks Water Treatment Plant (SBWTP), and related transmission lines, Army-owned pump stations and swimming pools in Schofield Barracks, Wheeler Army Airfield and various Army installations on the Island of Oahu, Hawaii. The solicitation will be in two lots one for the SBWWTP and the other for the SBWTP. Period of performance is 1 Aug 01 through 31 Jan 02 with 2 prepriced 6-month option periods. This procurement is a 100% small business set-aside. A firm is considered to be a small business if its average annual gross receipts for the past three years do not exceed $5.0 million. NAICS 811310, Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment (except Automotive and Electronic) Repair and Maintenance. Issue date is on or about 31 May 01. Telephone requests will not be honored. Current contractor for the mechanical equipment is JM Inc, 94-165 Kuahelani Ave #178, Mililani, HI 96789. Current estimated contract price for the last option period is $117,938.44. Current contractor for the electrical equipment is The Fuel Oil Polishing Company of Hawaii, 91-255 Hanua St, Kapolei, HI 96707-1731.
