This acquisition is a Total Small Business Set-Aside. The American Industry Classification Systems Code (NAICS) is 484110, Bus. Size $18.5 million. The type of contract is a Source Selection Firm-Fixed Price contract to relocate the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) personnel. DISA currently leases space at 11 buildings in the National Capital Region. Columbia Pike, 5600 Columbia Pike, Falls Church, VA, DISA Headquarters, 701 S. Fairfax Dr., Fairfax, VA, Skyline 5, 5111 Leesburg,Pike, Falls Church, VA, Isaac Newton Square, 11440 Isaac Newton Square, Reston, VA, Skyline 4, 5113 Leesburg Pike, Falls Church, VA, Skyline 3, 5201 Leesburg Pike, Falls Church, VA, Skyline 6, 5209 Leesburg Pike, Falls Church, VA and North Fairfax Drive, 4601 N. Fairfax Dr., Arlington, VA. The contractor will relocate to 7 Skyline, 5275 Leesburg Pike, Falls Church, VA, Columbia Pike, 5600 Columbia Pike, Falls Church, VA, Headquarters, 701 S. Courthouse Road, Arlington, VA and DSS-W Warehouse, 5775 General Washington Drive, Alexandria, VA. To accomodate the consolidation of DISA through the Eagle Project, DISA plans to relocate approximately 2000 personnel. Approximately 500 personnel will be relocated to the headquarters and Columbia Pike Buildings. The move involves a great deal of computer equipment in labs and administrative spaces. DISA will move over an 8 week period. The move activity is anticipated to be Monday through Sunday with the majority of the effort taking place outside of normal working hours. The estimated move date is within the month of October 2001. The contractor will provide the necessary manpower, materials, a dedicated project manager, supervisor, transportation, equipment and related moving services for the relocation of boxes, freestanding furniture, servers and computer equipment. Also, the contractor will be required to disassemble system/modular and transfer excess property to the DSS-W Warehouse during the weekend day hours. Directions to the various locations will be provided under a separate cover. The pre-bid conference, property inspection and walk-through will be conducted in phases commencing May 21 through May 24, 2001, viewing 3 sites per day until completion. Prospective bidders interested in attending the walk-through must submit to this office the company's name, address, name of representative attending (only 1 per firm), along with the telephone and fax numbers. Bidders that fail to participate in the walk-through or inspection of property to be relocated, will not be considered for award. The solicitation will be issued on or about May 10, 2001.
