Description

Spring Hill Campground and Picnic Area project involves renovation of the exisitng water system and site improvements. The water system work consists of installing new waterline (3,600LF of 1 1/2" PE, 300LF of 1" PE, and 900LF of 2" PE), water hydrants, drinking fountain, valve boxes, one host site water connection and pipe bedding material. Work also requires removal and disposal of existing wood post hydrants and vault toilets as well as the removal and salvage of signs. Site improvements include installation of new toilets, signs, bulleting boards, garbage cans and concrete pads for toilets. Construction also includes aggregate trail and steps. This project is on the Pintler Ranger District, Beaverhead-Deerlodge National Forest, Granite County, Montana. Work is estimated to begin June 25, 2001. Contract time is 90 days. Price Range is between $100,00 to $250,000. Approximate issue date is May 14, 2001.
