Description

There are two (2) line items. Furnishing all plant, labor, materials, and equipment; and performing all work in strict accordance with these specifications, schedules and drawings forming parts thereof, for the removal of existing paving and replacement with new concrete paving and construction of concrete hardstand located at Anniston Army Depot, Anniston, AL. Line item 0001 will consist of the following but not limited to the following : (a) Demolition of materials as described on the contract drawings; (b) Site preparation and excavation and backfilling for the new concrete paving; (c) New concrete paving along with all reinforcing fabric and expansion joint and contraction joint materials; (d) Completion of phase 1 as described in work schedule shall be able to support a 60-ton tank in 14 days after pouring. Line item 0002 consist of but not limited to the following: (1) Contractor shall excavate loose gravel and shape existing ground to drain slab naturally as ground slope now exists; (2) Contractor shall submit plan, for approval, showing control and expansion joints. inch expansion joint shall be placed against all existing concrete. (3) Appx 11,038 square feet is to excavated; (4) Amount of excavation required shall be 8 inches deep. Concrete slab will be 8 inches thick. (5) Compaction shall be required at all areas before placing slab . Magnitude of this project is between $100,000 and $250,000. Performance period is for 180 calendar days for line item 0001 and 90 days for line item 00002 after receipt of Notice to Proceed. This is an UNRESTRICTED procurement. North American Industry Classification System Code is 235710. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.501, 5.102(a)(7) and 14.205-1(c), therefore hardcopies will not be provided. Bids submitted must be in electronic format as stated in solicitation.
