Description

The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst (NAWCADLKE) intends to enter into sole source negotiations with Transaero, 80 Crossways Park Drive, Woodbury, NY for the acquisition of eight (8) Test Block, Check Valve/Damping Valve P/N TN916803-A. Required delivery date is 26 July 2001. The item is a Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) item used in Intermediate and Depot Level Maintenance for the V-22. The Test Block, Check Valve/Damping Valve will meet the requirements in the functional analysis. The Test Block, Check Valve/Damping Valve is made of aluminum and is designed to house the inlet valve, dampening valves and provide the mounting cavities for the flow passages and ports for fault testing purposes. The proposed acquisition is for an item that the Government does not own specifications or drawings. NAWCADLKE intends to procure this item under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1) as implemented in FAR 6.302-1. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal, which may be used by the Government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. SEE NUMBERED Notes 22
