Description

In today's society it is prevalent that parents must be employed in order to provide for the home and children. In such case, obtaining quality childcare is essential. A Family Child Care Provider is a self-employed small business owner who works in their own home caring for children of working parents. These individuals provide safe and nurturing environments for small groups of children in a family atmosphere. On Saturday, May 12th Edwards AFB will hold our annual Family Child Care Appreciation event and we would like to show our appreciation of these dedicated providers with a special tribute in their honor. The 95th Services Division would like to invite your company to become a sponsor of this celebration of this selfless group of people. So that you may share in this worthwhile endeavor, Edwards AFB invites you to participate as a commercial sponsor. Sponsorship is an essential element for the continuation and success of programs such as this, and we are requesting your company's support. Sponsorship is contributed in the form of monetary and/or in-kind contributions. As a return on your investment, your company will receive extensive sponsor recognition. Sponsor exposure may include name or logo recognition, media coverage, articles, photo opportunities, posters, fliers and prominent acknowledgement throughout the event. All offers will be considered. Unfortunately, we are unable to accept offers for sponsorships from any contractor, including their affiliates (division, business groups, subsidiaries, etc.) subcontract arrangements, teaming partners and joint venture partners who are currently participating in, or who intend to participate in, any solicitation issued by the Air Force Flight Test Center (AFFTC), or will involve AFFTC requirements of $100,000 or more. If your company meets these criteria, we request that you do not submit a sponsorship offer thereby eliminating the need for rejection by the Government. More than one sponsor may be accepted and additives will be considered. Requests for copies of this solicitation must be received no later than May 11, 2001. This is a solicitation for commercial sponsorship by a nonappropriated fund instrumentality of the United States Government. It does not obligate appropriated funds of the government.
