Description
Furnish flight services fully contractor operated and maintained consisting of the following type aircraft: AC690 or equal. Aircraft specifications are as follows: Twin engine, Turbine, High wing, Power source for two laptop computers, 2 GPS data ports, Tables for laptop computers, Bubble windows, Seats for 3 passengers. Two pilots are required, both are to be PIC. Aircraft will be used by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service for an offshore marine bird survey July 23 through August 2, 2001. Estimated total flight time is 40 hours. Transects for the survey will alternate between short (16nm) and long (50nm) starting at the mainland shoreline and extending into offshore waters. Western and eastern extent of the survey is Barrow and Demarcation Point, respectively. The survey will begin in Barrow, Alaska and work eastward. The first two days the survey will be based out of Barrow, Alaska and the remainder of the survey will be based out of Deadhorse, Alaska. Offerors must be an approved Aircraft Rental Agreement (ARA) operator with the Office of Aircraft Services with a low-level endorsement for offered aircraft and pilots. See Note #1.
