Description

The principal components of work are: Quarrying, loading, hauling, and placing 100 linear feet of boulders. Work requires placing 175 yards of concrete on the downstream face of the dam, and finishing it to mimic the random angular appearance of existing rip rap. Work also requires cleaning the job site and demobilizing. Job site is Avalon Dam, about 2 miles north of Carlsbad, New Mexico, in Eddy County. Work to be completed within 90 days. Set Aside for HUBZone certified small business concerns. Estimated price range of job falls in the step between $100,000 and $250,000. Work is under NAICS Code 234990 (formerly SIC Code 1629). All responsible sources may submit bids which will be considered for award. Numbered Notes 12 and 27 apply to this acquisition.
