Description

This notice is to advise industry that the U.S. Coast Guard Engineering Logistics Center intends to award a sole-source Purchase Order to Tideland Signal Corporation, P.O. Box 52430, Houston, TX, for the following replacement parts in support of the RACON Seabeacon II system. (1) Digital Processor, P/N 530.1377, quantity 5 each; (2) Control Processor CCA, P/N 530.1383-00, quantity 5 each; (3) Power Supply CCA, P/N 530.1378-00, quantity 2 each; (4) C-Loop CCA, P/N 530.1390, quantity 5 each; (5) Racon Seabeacon II Radome, P/N 3421168-00, quantity 5 each; (6) Racon Seabeacon II base, P/N 6301236-00, quantity 10 each; (7) Racon SB2 Sys. 5 power and data cable, 15 feet, P/N 5101235-00, quantity 10 each; (8) Racon SB2 Sys. 5 power & data cable, 49 feet, P/N 5101235-01, quantity 5 each; and Canning Kit, P/N 901.1131-00, quantity 10 each. These parts shall be placed into ELC stock. Tideland Signal Corporation is the Original Equipment Manufacturer for these items. Alternate or equal items shall not be accepted at this time. Responsible sources that can supply the part numbers listed may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Responses to this Notice MUST BE RECEIVED NO LATER THAN 11 MAY 2001. Any responses received after this deadline shall not be considered. This Notice is issued pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 6.302-1. This notice is NOT a request for competitive quotations. See Numbered Note 22. The following statement is for information purposes: ATTENTION: Minority, Women-Owned, and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE's)! The Department of Transportation (DOT), Short Term Lending Program (STLP), offers working capital financing in the form of lines of credit to finance accounts receivable for transportation related contracts.
