Description

NOAA's National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) has a requirement for services to operate and maintain NOAA's National Marine Fisheries Service's Newport Field Station in Newport, Oregon. The facility consists of two buildings with a combined square footage of 50,000 including the Newport Aquaculture Laboratory and the Research Support Facility. The Contractor shall furnish all labor supplies, materials, equipment and supervision to provide the following services: building and equipment maintenance, scientific equipment maintenance, operation and maintenance of the seawater distribution system ensuring a constant source of clean seawater, and security/safety inspections. A site visit will be schedule the last week of May, 2001. The period of performance will be a base year plus four (4) option years. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered by this agency.
