Description

The Office of Naval Research (ONR) has a requirement for technical support services to promote increased participation of Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) in Department of Defense education programs. The Historically Black Colleges and Universities Future Engineering Faculty Fellowship Program is designed to develop and attract qualified engineering faculty to Historically Black Colleges and Universities with engineering programs. It is ONR's intent to negotiate this on a sole source basis with North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University located in Greensboro, NC. It is anticipated that this requirement will be awarded on or about 01 July 2001 and the period of performance will be a six-month base, four twelve-month options, and one six-month option. See Note 22.
