Industry Day Commerce Business Daily (CBD) Announcement SPAWAR Systems Center -- San Diego (SSC-SD) is pleased to announce a meeting to be held at SSC-SD's Seaside facility, building C60, room 347 on 26 July 2001 for an information exchange on the GPS JPO Advanced Global Navigation Simulator (AGNS) program. Businesses involved in the GPS satellite simulator industry are invited to attend. The AGNS program is in the process of documenting functional requirements for GPS satellite signal simulators, including the creation of a signal generator Interface Control Document (ICD). These documents may be used by military test organizations to define, in part, their requirements for GPS satellite signal simulators. This meeting will be an opportunity for industry to meet with AGNS program personnel to discuss the status and future plans of the program. The AGNS program objectives will be described and an overview of the JPO simulator requirements will be presented. The format will be informal, intended to promote questions and discussion. Inputs on the AGNS program activities and goals will be solicited. Commercial businesses are requested to send notice of their plans to participate no later than 29 June 2001.
