Description

This is an intent to award a Sole Source Contract Name Brand Only with Butler LoPo 550 Reserve Parachute for 600 canopies, containers and risers to be purchased over 2 fiscal years in accordance with FAR 6.302-1. The parachute incorporates a patented, proprietary flat slider and pilot chute attachment bridle. The proposed contract is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement or submit proposals. This Notice of Intent is not a Request for Competitive Proposals. However, the Government will consider all proposals received within 15 days after date of publication of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
