Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information provided in this notice. THIS NOTICE IS THE SOLICITATION DOCUMENT for a Brand Name item. All references to "offers" are understood to be "quotations". This is an unrestricted solicitation. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect though Federal Acquisition Circular 97-15. Keesler AFB intends to issue a firm-fixed price purchase order for No-Smoke vehicle mounted exhaust filtration system, using simplified acquisition procedures for commercial items for the purchase of the following item: 4ea No-Smoke vehicle mounted exhaust filtration systems(Ward Diesel Filter Systems Part # 06A-0010A1) with installation. These systems include the filter, diverter unit, electronic control module and are self contained on vehicle. Warranty: 1 year. The North American Industry Classification is 421830 and the small business standard is 100. The following Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) provisions and clauses apply: FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items is amended to read: submit signed and dated offer to 81 CONS/LGCA, 310 M Street, Bldg 4605, Room 102, Keesler AFB MS 39534-2147 at or before 1530(3:30pm) CST 14 May 01. Quotation may be submitted via FAX (228) 377-3298 to Kimberley Alvarez, or e-mail at Kimberley.Alvarez@Keesler.af.mil. Evaluation will be made in accordance with Provision FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation Commericial Items (Jan 1999). Evaluation factors past performance, technically acceptable product, and price will be evaluated as being substantially equal. Each offeror shall include a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items with their quote. FAR 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items is incorporated by reference with the following addenda: add DFARS 252.204-7004 Required Central Contractor Registration. FAR 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statues or Executive Orders-Commercial Items and DFARS 252.212-7001; however for paragraph (b) only, the following clauses apply: FAR 52.222-26, Equal Opportunity, FAR 52.222-35 Affirmative Action for Disable Veterans and Veterans of the Vietnam Era, FAR 52.222-36 Affirmative Action for Handicapped workers with disabilities, FAR 52.222-3 Employment Reports on disabled Veterans and Veterans of the Vietnam Era, far 52.232-33, Mandatory Information for Electronic Funds Transfer-Central Contractor Registration, and DFARS 252.225-7001.
