Description

This solicitation is for the procurement of a corporate contract for general all purpose machinery and general all purpose electrical equipment and components available from Triman Industries, Wheeler Brothers, W&W Logistics Kampi Components, JGB Enterprises, Aeroquip and others. On those items with an AMSC of G, technical drawings/bid sets are available from DSCC-VTCD(see additional information below on how to obtain copies). All NSNs are available for download under the "Acquisition download" menu item on the DSCC InterNet Bid Board System(DIBBS) under the heading "DSCC Corporate Contract Solicitations". Access is directly available from http://dibbs.dscccols.com. Access is also available via the World Wide Web-refer to WEB LINK(item 19 below). This solicitation is an RFP or IFB and will be available on the Internet at http://dibbs.dscccols.com/Rfp on its issue date of 18 May 01. Hard copies of this solicitation are not available. Drawings are posted with the solicitation on the DSCC solicitation web-site. If the drawings are not posted with the solicitation, see Clause L07- Availability of Drawings for information on how to obtain the drawings. FEDERAL,MILITARY AND COMMERCIAL SPECIFICATIONS CANNOT BE PROVIDED BY DSCC. The proposed procurement contains an option to extend the contract period one or more times at the discretion of the government. The total shall not exceed 5 years. This is an unrestricted acquisition. This proposed procurement includes a family group of items within the Federal Supply Class: See Item 17 above. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation.
