Description

The Coastal Systems Station, Dahlgren Division, NSWC, Panama City, Florida intends to solicit Ultra Electronics Limited, Ocean Systems Division, Waverly House, Hampshire Road, Granby Estate, Weymouth DT4 9XD, United Kingdom on a sole-source basis for a Deepscan 325 Bathymetric Mapping and Interferometric Side Scan Sonar Imaging System. This is a commercial off-the-shelf system. Basis for sole-source action is the compatibility of the proposed system with the systems currently in use, which were produced by Ultra Electronics. This compatibility extends to Operating and Training materials, basic maintenance procedures, and the data collection, analysis and distribution systems. Delivery will be to the Coastal Systems Station, 6703 West Highway 98, Panama City, Florida, 32407-7001. Required delivery date is not later than 31 December 2001.
