Description

This is a combined synopsis and solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Request for Quotation Number is N66604-01-Q-3936. Incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-21. NAICS Code is 334111; size standard is 1,000. The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport has a Brand Name or Equal procurement for 3 ea. Panoram Technologies, Inc. PV290 DSK 3 Panel Integrated Audiovisual Display System housed in a single desktop mountable unit. The minimum requirements are as follows: 1. Three panel integrated Flat Segmented LCD display surface providing a total display surface area of 11" x 42" or larger. The three-panel display must be housed in a single desktop mountable unit. 2. Total display resolution for the three panels shall be 3840 x 1024 or higher. 3. Image separation between panels of 3/4 inch or less. 4. Video inputs required for each panel are: RGBH/V (2), RCA composite (1) and S-Video (1). 5. Audio input connections to include stereo RCA pin jacks and 1/8 inch stereo mini-jacks. 6. Computer control software shall be provided for external control of video and audio input selection. 7. Manual input selection capability. 8. Automatic display setup for video inputs. 9. Integrated sound system with manual volume control. 10. Compatible with Apple Mac, HP, SGI, Sun, and Windows/NT operating systems. Required delivery is within 14 days after award, FOB Destination Naval Station Newport, Newport, RI. This acquisition is sole source make and model because Panoram provides three flat screens tied tightly together to form a single image. All other timely offers will be considered.
