Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR /Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. FAR 52.212-1, FAR 52.214-4, FAR 52.215-5 and FAR 52.213-2 are applicable. This request is for NAVRESREDCOM MW, 2601B PAUL JONES ST, GREAT LAKES, IL 60088 for the following; REDC0M MIDWEST CO'S CONFERENCE, 15-16 JUNE 2001 for 250 Standard Rooms per day and Seven 7 One Bedroom Suites (2 room units) per day to be paid by each reservest (per diem) and not part of this solicitation. The cost of rooms shall be used to show "fair and reasonable" but not to be included in the total cost of the bid). This request includes; 1. 2 ea Meeting Suite/Break out room. 2. 2 ea S105 ABC Conference Room (max cost based on sliding scale dependent upon number of room reservations). 3. 30 ea Hotel Rooms for Speakers (ombudsmen/speakers 15 rm for 2 nights). 4. 2 ea Light Refreshments (max cost for approx 300 people x 2 days on sliding scale dependent upon attendees). 5. 1 ea Refreshment Services(17%) (Gratuity, plus social event services). 6. 3 ea Office Suite. 7. 2 ea Audio Visual Equipment (screens/Projectors). Method of payment to be Government Credit Card. Facility shall be located within a three mile radius of McCormick Place, Chicago, Il. Offers are due on 11 May 2001.
