Description

The Work includes furnishing all necessary labor, materials, equipment, supervision, tools, transportation, and management necessary for harvesting sawtimber and pulpwood and other incidental related work at Marine Corp Base, Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. All merchantable timber products are to become the property of the Contractor and shall be removed from the limits of the Station. Bid documents will be available on or about 23 May 2001. The bid opening date will be on or about 10 July 2001. Mr. Danny Marshburn will accompany prospective bidders to the site on 1 June 2001. Prospective bidders who wish to inspect the site should be at Building No. 58, located on Virginia Dare Drive at Marine Corp Base, Camp Lejeune, NC before 9:00 AM. Specifications and the bidding package may be requested (at no charge) in writing to DAPS, Attn: BID SPEC DESK, 80 Post Lane, Camp Lejeune, North Carolina 28547-2527.
