Description

This is a sole source notice in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 Only one responsible source and no other supplier or services will satisfy agency requirements" of the government intent to negotiate with Hatcher Catering Inc., 1100 Walnut Street, PO Box 70, Starke, Florida on an other than full and open competitive basis for the procurement to provide meals to approximately 2000 Junior ROTC Cadets during the period 10 July through 17 July 2001 for cycle one and 17 July through 24 July 2001 for cycle two with approximately 1000 meals per cycle. The contractor shall provide all resources necessary to provide Meals for JROTC Cadets at Camp Blanding, Florida, as defined in this contract, except Government furnished property and services, as specified in section C.3. Due to the remoteness of Camp Blanding, Hatcher Catering, is the only eating establishment within the immediate area that can provide three balanced meals to the large number of cadets. Hatcher Catering is adequately staffed and equipped to meet the required needs during the scheduled contract period. The applicable SIC Code is 5812, the NAICS Code is 72232. The magnitude is between $100,000 and $250,000.
