Description

The Government intends to award a Firm Fixed Price Type Contract for the performance of refuse and recycling services at Fort Lee, VA. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, containers, tools, materials, equipment, transportation, and supervision to manage and perform all operations for refuse collection, recycling, transportation, and disposal services of all solid waste at Fort Lee, Prince George County, VA, including Fort Lee Housing areas and Fort Lee Ranges. This requirement will be solicited as a Request for Proposal utilizing commercial acquisition procedures and will be Unrestricted -- Full and Open Competition. The period of performance will be a Base Year 1 July 2001 through 30 September 2001, with 4 Option Years, ending 30 September 2005. Hard copies of subject solicitation will not be mailed. Date and time for site visit and pre-proposal conference to be provided in solicitation and specified web page. Tentative issue date for the RFP is on or about 21 May 2001 with a date for receipt of proposals approximately 4 June 2001. Proposals will be considered from all responsible sources.
