Description

It is the delcared and acknowledged intention and meaning of this solicitation to provide grounds maintenance services in housing at the Naval Security Group Activity, Winter Harbor, Maine by means of a combination firm fixed price/indefininte quantity contract. The term of the contract resulting from this solicitation will be for a period of one year with one option year. PROSPECTIVE CONTRACTORS MUST REGISTER IN THE CENTRAL CONTRACTOR REGISTRATION DATABASE PRIOR TO AWARD OF A CONTRACT. BIDDERS ARE FURTHER ADVISED THAT FAILURE TO REGISTER IN THE DOD CENTRAL CONTRACTOR REGISTRATION DATABASE MAY RENDER YOUR FIRM INELIGIBLE FOR AWARD. The proposed contract is considered for a 100% HUB Zone set-aside. Interested Hub Zone concerns that meet the criteria must indicate their interest by submitting evidence of their capability to perform (three references with names, phone and contract numbers) within 15 days of this notice. If adequate interest is not received within the time specified, the contract will be issued as a small business set-aside subject to FAR 52.219-4, Notice of Price Evaluation Preference for Hub Zone Small Business Concerns. Replies to this notice are requested for NAICS Code 561730, Landscaping Services. A quote closing date has not been set for this solicitation. The quotes closing date will be indicated on the Standard Form 18 in the solicitation package. All requests for solicitation packages must be in writing; telephone requests will not be honored.
