Description

Subcontractor to provide all Labor, Materials, and Service necessary for the repair of one (1) elevated domestic water storage tank, Building 8251, located at the NASA Plum Brook Station, Sandusky, Ohio. The Domestic Water Tank was built by Pittsburgh DesMoines Mfg. in the 1940's. The domesitc water tank holds 100,000 gallons, and was last inspected in 1998. A brief discription of the work to be done includes: Repairing the weld at the junction of the upper riser to the conainer, Tightening and turning of all the tower and riser stay rods, Surface preparation and applying resin to the interior roof seams, including additional work. Anticipated Contract Type: Firm Fixed Price. This procurement is unrestricted. All responsible business sources may submit a proposal which, if timely received, shall be considered.
