Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. F14C3011210100 is being issued as a Request for Quotation, which incorporates provisions and clauses for commercial items in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-24. This acquisition is completely set-aside for small businesses in accordance with FAR 19.502(a). The associated NAICS code for this acquisition is 332311 with a size standard of 500 employees. McConnell AFB, KS plans to procure a mobile aluminum ramp and a pallet net storage rack. The ramp shall be a Yard King Model SY-309636-L-P, or equal. The ramp shall be constructed of aluminum with steel grating. The ramp shall have a 30,000lbs capacity. Overall width of the ramp shall be 96_, with a usable width of 85_. The ramp shall include the following: Standard heavy-duty single stroke hydraulic pump, standard 2_ bore cylinders, standard 18_ x 5_ mold-on rubber tires, standard tow bar, standard safety anchor chains, standard 6_ safety curb painted alert orange. The ramp shall have a raised lip height of 63_ and a lowered lip height of 37_. The pallet net storage rack shall be an AAR Cadillac Manufacturing model 60144001, or equal. Rack shall store pallet top nets vertically. The rack shall have the following dimensions: 76.5_L x 48_W x 78_H. Rack shall be on casters to allow for mobility. Rack shall be constructed entirely of steel. Award will be made to the low, responsive, responsible offeror who submits an acceptable quote in full compliance with the requirements of the RFQ.
