Description

The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, New Jersey intends to enter into negotiations with EVEREST VIT, for five-(5) flexible Video Defect Measurement Systems (P/N PXLM620A SYS), associated viewing tips, and fifteen (15) Battery Packs (P/N XA117S). Everest VIT is located at 199 Highway 206, Flanders, N.J. 07836-4500. The Government intends to procurement these services under the authority of 10 USC 2304(c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. EVEREST VIT is the sole designer and Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) of the PXLM620A Video Defect Measurement System, and the Battery Packs (P/N XA117S). The Government does not own any data, drawings or other specifications to permit full and open competition. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal that may be used by the Government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. Responses should reference N68335-01-R-0229. Information should be received no later than 18 May 2001. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. No solicitation package will be available.
