Description

Napa River/Napa Creek Flood Control Project. Cultural Resources Evaluation of the Proposed Relocation of Part of the Napa Valley Wine Train Rail Line, Napa County, California. The contractor is to provide all labor and materials necessary to a) prepare an evaluation of the Napa Valley Wine Train including archival research, historical context statement, and National Register of Historic Places evaluation; b) perform an archeological resources evaluation including records check and archival review, on-the-ground intensive survey and report of potential for buried cultural resources; and c) archeological resources recordation. Key personnel participating in this project shall be qualified under the Secretary of the Interior's qualifications for Professional Historians and Archeologists as appropriate. Offerors for this project shall submit examples of their work that reflect experience in evaluating linear features, development of historic context statements, and archeological inventory and evaluation for the determination of the eligibility of properties to the NRHP.
