Description
The Virginia Contracting Activity (VACA) on behalf of the Defense Intelligence Agency has a requirement for a research effort on the nonlinear modeling of human dynamics. This requirement will be initiated for multi-agency use and the research goal is to identify nonlinear methods of relevance to human behavior in global affairs, develop an integrated methodology to applying those methods to solve analytical problems and promote the delivery of nonlinear analytical tools. Specific areas of research are: the impact of human behavior on spread of bubonic and/or pneumonic plague and the dynamics of small group decision-making and related political instability. The contract period will be one year with one option year period. It is anticipated that the RFP will be issued on or about 23 May 2001. Interested parties in receipt of the solicitation are also invited to forward a white paper, describing their capabilities in providing the services required for this acquisition.
